Background on the publishing technology platform

The native technology of our publishing platform supports all Level A and wherever possible Level AA success criteria of the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. We are committed to making our website as accessible as possible to everyone, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments.

All text, including our PDFs can be magnified and is compatible with standard read aloud software. All HTML element can be reflowed.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • Some images don’t display alt-text for images
  • It can be hard to make out text on banners and tabs
  • Some links don’t have discernible text (icons)

    • We are currently addressing these issues by adding in appropriate alt-text into images and improving the contrast of some elements on the screen.
