Abstract

This chapter discusses the need to move from reality capture to decision-making in the context of inspection and maintenance. The chapter presents an Intelligent Road Management Platform founded on an array of innovative technologies, aimed at enhancing the construction, maintenance, renovation, and rehabilitation of the European road network. This includes the entire asset management chain, focusing on modular bridge construction, inspection digitization, predictive maintenance, and automated execution of preservation activities.
